Surprise for our Reilly!
On Friday, May 18, we surprised our 14 year-old author Reilly Woodhouse at her school’s talent show! We tricked her by having Tim from KTIM community radio walk out onto the stage and ask for her to come up. Tim read the description on the back of her book, The Pirate Heir and then announced that her book was now officially published! Camille Haight and I, Jaesi Christian, came out from backstage with her book and a rose from our CEO, Emily Henderson to present her with the first five printed copies of her book! The audience went wild and stood up to cheer for her!
After thanking everyone and congratulating our inspirational author, we exited the stage and discovered the local newspaper, The Spectrum, and KSL waiting out in the hall to interview Reilly. Her story was featured on KSL later that night and hit front page the next day on The Spectrum! Congratulations Reilly Woodhouse! We’re excited for your bright future!

Thank you so much to our Marketing Director, Jaesi Christan, for all of your hard work and for organizing all of this! We are lucky to have such a fantastic team. Wish I could have been there personally to congratulate Reilly, but I know that sending Jaesi in my place was the perfect choice. This young author has quite the bright future ahead. We have already been contacted for her to present at a local book fair and she will be on KTIM 95.3 radio on Monday May 21st at noon.
